INQ1 Silver £15 per Month, Free 3 to 3 calls at 3M

INQ Mobile, the company behind the INQ1 mobile phone available on 3UK, have launched a new two-way customer support and suggestion website via GetSatisfaction.  This is an interesting move for INQ, as it should allow them direct access to their customers, and gauge the level of interest in new features or new devices.

This comes at an interesting time for INQ; we’ve already mentioned their plans for a “Twitter phone” in or before Q4 this year, but INQ’s CEO is on record stating they are planning two more INQ phones *and* a new Skypephone before the end of 2009.  INQ have also mentioned that they are talking to other operators, not just 3UK for these phones, both in the UK and abroad, so we may well see some of these new devices on other networks towards the end of this year or into 2010.

INQ also stated that they would be happy to remove the Skype client from the Skypephones to allow them to be sold on other networks.  This should allow INQ to start selling their devices around the world on mobile networks who don’t have the infrastructure to support the current INQ Skype client.

We know INQ are looking at QWERTY and GPS options for their devices, so maybe the new “Twitter phone” will be a QWERTY device to make tweeting even easier…
