Vodafone Android handset coming next month

HTC Magic

The Vodafone Android based HTC Magic will go on sale from 1st May 2009, but as from the 17th April, you will be able to pre-order the phone from Vodafone.  It looks like it will be available for £30 per month (18 month contract), and the plan will include 600 minutes, “unlimited” texts, and “unlimited” internet and emails.

Although the details aren’t yet released, we expect the contract to actually offer 600 minutes, 3000 texts and upto 500MB of Internet Access per month; one question on our minds; with the natural “online” nature of Android, and with many useful applications out there; will 500MB be enough, or will lots of people hit the limits of this tariff…

Seriously, does anyone at Vodafone understand how stupid this is?
