Yesterday Nokia released another new firmware for any Nokia E71 on the generic EURO1 Product Code.  This new firmware, v210, includes the following changes: “This software release enhances general software maturity and stability. The software release includes: stability and functionality improvements in the following areas: browser, camera, calendar, messaging and VoiP. In addition the update contains normal error corrections.”

If you are running a branded firmware, then it’s unlikely this update will be available to you, but for those who bought their phone unlocked and “SIMfree” (or for those who have changed the product code), then this update should be available via the Nokia Software Updater website.  Please remember as the Nokia E71 does not have UDP (User Data Preservation) you will lose all installed applications and data.
