Nintendo has announced a new DS device, the DSi. This is slimmer (as it no longer has the GBA cartridge slot), but has slightly larger dual touchscreens, and also gains a front and rear camera. It now features an SD slot (and some internal memory) for storing those photos from the camera (the external camera is 3 megapixel). Similar to the Wii, there will be a DSi shop, which will offer a free browser for the DSi. Although it will launch in November in Japan, we won’t see it in the UK until next year.
