Delta Airlines has announced it will be fitting it’s entire domestic fleet of airplanes with Wi-Fi service, so although you may not get a service whilst crossing the Atlantic, once you get to the US, you should find (by mid-2009) that there is a Wi-Fi service on board. Delta will charge $9.95 for short (less than 3 hours) flights, or $12.95 for longer flights, and that will allow connection of “any Wi-Fi device” (whether that’s a single Wi-Fi device, or multiple devices we don’t know.
A few more details are available direct from Delta.
