Although only a few details are available at the moment, LG are due to release a high spec Symbian mobile phone at Mobile World Congress in the next few days. The information so far comes not from LG, but from a Symbian press release…

The LG KT-610 will feature built in GPS, and will be a candy bar mobile phone (think Nokia N82) with a unique 2.4″ VGA flip screen holding a QWERTY keyboard. It is based on Symbian OS v9.2, using S60 3rd Edition FP1, and has HSDPA.
